    New to home brewing and this forum. Have the NB deluxe kit with glass carboys and been at it two weeks with my 3rd batch planned for the long weekend. Primary- Maple Syrup dark ale. Secondary caribou slobber.

    Midwest supplies cream stout( oak/bourbon)

    Cooking this up this weekend and wondering if anyone has experimented with this. This is only my second batch and its an extract kit. Planning on adding medium plus toasted oak spiral that's been soaked in JD for two weeks in the secondary. Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated.
