    how much is too much

    We CANNOT get our efficiency right. Every batch we have done has been low. We have tried to resolve this in a few ways but nothing is working. So, my question is, how many lbs of grains are too much for your typical 5 gallon beginners system? thanks ahead of time

    All grain recipe using 8 gallon of h20 for mash

    I did not realize that this recipe will use 8 gallons of h20 for the mash. I only have my one turkey fryer size pot. Should I split my grains into another pot of h20... will this mess everything up

    Chocolate Espresso Stout

    watered down?

    We have made two batches that are both lacking in body and taste watered down. The first was an IPA and the second a Red Ale. Any suggestions?

    New Ohio Brewers

    Hi guys, My husband and I are new to craft brewing. We have worked with a few kits before, but we are trying to branch out and create our own recipes in hopes to starting our own small brewery in 5 years. Any suggestions of where to start are much appreciated! Cheers!! :mug:
