Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

When I first tried this beer young I was like "yuck" but as it aged out it started tasting really good. Of all the batches I done since switching to AG it's been the only one that I actually liked! Now that the keezer is operational I think I may have a go at it again. Of course I gotta try...

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

Just wanted to join this thread as I am getting ready to build my keezer with a new GE 7.0 Cubic feet freezer from Sams ($198). Frys electronics has Sanyo 4912Ms for about the same price if you do in store pickup. My wife suggested the 4 kegs on tap vs the 1. God bless her heart...

    What are you drinking now?

I'm drinking my last 24oz Tripel X bomber. I should have made 10 gallons of this. Even though the candi sugar didn't work out right this is still the best tasting tripel I or my wife has tasted in a long time. Gotta finish up brew day today. Ran out of propane last night.

California Raisin Wild Yeast (Texas) 100% Wheat Beer OG: 1.044 FG: 1.013 Tastes great without raspberries! Secondary on to 48oz of raspberries today. Yeast already attacking those. Picture pleasure attached.

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

I didn't think this would be any good after sampling the first two weeks. Im actually working on my next to last one right now. It's a shame I don't have any more wating to be bottled. It really needs to age 3-4 weeks or more to bring it out fully. I added it to my rotation sheet for...

    No Trubble - Tripel X

Bottled @ 3.3 Vols to counter the sugar. It ended up being 6.4% ABV because of the failed candi sugar. Still very drinkable. I will brew this again but modify my candi sugar recipe/skills.

    What are you drinking now?

Tripel X 6.4% (missed the mark with homemade candi sugar but carbed to 3.3 vols to compensate for extra sweetness)

    Howto: Capture Wild Yeast

Yeah basically a handful of grains and a half gallon of water just like I would while doing a regular AG brew day. No hops used in the starter. Hops are $4 plus per oz at my LHBS and while I believe in supporting them I don't like being extorted. Which is also the same reason I am using wild...

Brewtarget 1.2.3 - Free Open Source Brewing Software

The link for 1.2.4 is dead and I can't seem to find it. can someone correct the link on the first post? I just made a small 3 gallon 100% wheat beer from this software. It seems to have been accurate but I did find some bugs that I would like to report.

    Howto: Capture Wild Yeast

I brewed up a 3 gallon 100% wheat beer for this today and pitched the raisin yeast a couple hours ago. It has already developed a small kruasen top and is very active. I'm looking forward to the results in a few days.
