    bottle condition or ferment?

    I just bottled my first brew. I dont have any place that is 70 to condition. So I set my fermentation chamber to 70 to condition in there.     Cold Crashing Question

    First, let me apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I am cold crashing my first brew. I set my ferm chamber to 35 degrees (2 deg Celsius). Evidently, the freezer I bought used will only get down to 5 deg Celsius. Will that "crash" it well enough?

    Bought some homebrew equipment and there was a Phils Philler with it. I guess this was the original bottle filler, before they made them with plastic. Are they easier or better than the modern plastic ones?

    First Batch Advise

    I received a kit from Midwest, Autumn Amber Ale. The SG was 1.050 on July 16. On 6/19, then again on 6/23 my reading had gone to 1.020. I thought because of using an extract kit it had hit the wall at 1.020. On 7/02 I was going to cold crash it for 3-4 days then bottle. Well on 7/02 gravity...
