    Double Dark IPA

    Just bottled and it smelled very good. 20 bombers and a 6 pack of 12oz bottles used. Upon sampling it was hoppy but had a smooth finish and had a deep amber color. I could really taste the chinook and smell the amarillo it's a hop bomb, kinda like "A Little Sumpin' Wild" by Lagunitas Brewing...

    Ok, i am going go bottle in a few days and i am not sure how much priming sugar to use. It is a 5 gallon batch containing 9.25 lbs of amber extract and 1.25lbs of dark extract. 6 oz of various hops and i used white labs california ale yeast(WLP001). Oh... i will be bottling in bombers. Thanks

    Bottles and use.

    I will be bottling my beer @ the end of the week and I wanted to use 20oz bombers. I have been saving and have gotten some from friends (I have 36 bottles). All bottles have been washed and have no odor of beer. On bottling day I will sanitize the bottles, am I save to use these bottels?

    Married w/ 2 kids (12 & 7) and an olde english buldogge(roxy). Love hoppy beer(Imperial IPA's) so I decided to start brewing my own. So much fun . . .

    First off . . .Thanks for the advise, I am super new to this and I can use all the help I can get. After tasting, I will try another, using your sugestions. In my next batch I will take the hop schedule into account. thanks again.
