    Has anyone ever come across an Ale-8 clone?

    I was at Court Day as well. I think I saw you there :D Hmm...vanilla you say? A little fruitier too, but can't quite put my finger on it.

    Has anyone ever come across an Ale-8 clone?

    I used to be able to get my hands on as much Ale-8 as I wanted when living in eastern and central KY. Now that I've moved I can't find it anywhere. I'd love to give it a shot but have come up empty-handed thus far.

    Quick fermentation

    It's been around 68 to 70 degrees. If the gravity reading is where I want it I was planning on doing a secondary fermentation in my carboy. Would it be wise to go ahead with that yet or am I rushing things?

    Quick fermentation

    I currently have a red ale fermenting using WL Irish yeast. It started bubbling after about 12 hours. It's now been about 52 hours and I'm seeing almost no activity. Is this normal?
