    Test runs

Pogo I read that to. But was wondering if anyone has tried splitting it between 2 batches. I have no problem using one per, but right now I have one packet of EC-118 and a 25 minute drive for more. By the time I figure gas into the mix that’s one expensive batch. Thanks Dave

    Test runs

Ok so heres the deal. I bought 4 one gallon glass jugs to use for test runs of ciders. If I was to make say 2 different batches of cider could I split a package of yeast between the two or would that be too little to get them started?

    Fermenting how warm?

How warm should it be to keep the cider fermenting at a good pace? I have a batch of hard apple cider pitched with EC-1118 that has been going for about two weeks now. Bubbler slowed down and was almost stopped. So to my point about temp, I made a batch of hard lemonade last weekend and pitched...

Easiest, Strongest and sweet beer for a beginner

No prob flyangler18. Thanks for the recommendations. I like molsion beer. I would like something with around 5-7 ABV and on the sweet side. I really liked Bud Ice when it first came out then it seemed like they changed it. Then it tasted more like regular Bud (Pi$$). DubbelDach I guess i'm a...

Does this Hard lemonade look ok? (with pic)

Put 5 gallons of this together Saturday. Used lemon concentrate and 1 ½ lbs sugar. Here’s the deal tho, the concentrate had pulp in it and I did not filter it out. Anyway it looked ok and I let it sit over night. All appeared to be ok in the morning. Activated some EC-1118 yeast and put it in...
