    Malted milk powder, when to add malt?

    M making a beer from a kit, and i want to personalize it. I was interested in adding malted milk powder. Im mostly interested in having the flavor carry over into the final product, so i was thinking of adding it during secondary. Any suggestions or advice?

    Licorice / Anise beer.

    I've decided that it was time to make a licorice beer. I am a bi fan of black licorice, and i feel it would blend well with a stout. What would be the best way to go about this? Would it be better to steep some anise seed and licorice root in the boil, or would it be better to drop a few sticks...
