    Advice please- Atlanta beer scene?

Hop City is a great store. They claim over 2000 beers I think. I know they have the best selection I have found as well as a lot of growler fills with a lot of locals. They are also a small homebrew shop. Hit sweetwater, and if you have time Jailhouse Brewing below Atl and terrapin brewing.

You could also drop the 30 minute addition and move it within the last 15 minutes. That what I did when I added citra.

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

I used citra as a dry hop on one and the next used it at 10 min, flameout and dry. With one oz I would dry hop. It works really well with this. The 2nd one I did is my favorite beer I have made.

Love this beer. However I changed this one up a little. I dropped the 30 minute addition, and added 1/2 ounce of citra at 10 and flame out also. 1 ounce dry hop. I love citra an it matched very well with this beer. The aroma and flavor are amazing. It is still very smooth and extremely...

How long did it take you until you made a awesome batch?

Well I did 3 ok extracts, 1 terrible AG, 1 ok AG, and finally one really good Blonde AG. Biggest thing I can suggest is to find a homebrew club to join. That is what I did. We have 3 certified judges which helps a lot. Everyone has tasted my beers and I have gotten a lot of feedback to...

    Bandaid/medicinal flavor

Seems everyone thinks it is water related. What should be my next steps. BTW my mash PH was between 5.5-6.0. I have picked up the campden tablets. From what I have read they will remove the chlorine/chloramine. My other option is to use well water from my inlaws as well as buying RO water...

    Bandaid/medicinal flavor

All right I have done 2 extract and 1 all grain. One extract(belgian) and 1 all grain(pale ale) both have the same bandaid type flavor. I used starsan on everything. The extract did have a long lag time(no starter),about 36 hours. The second bubbling in 8 hours(used starter). The extract...

    Brewing with tamarind

With sweet tamarind I would think an American wheat hopped with citra would be great. Tamarind can be found at Latino or oriental stores. You can get it in paste, dried blocks or the actual pods.
