I work at a LHBS can we are looking to get more involved with some of the local home brew clubs. If you are in a HBC what would you like to see your LHBS do?

I started a thread called brew store but felt the title should have need more detailed.... All feed back is welcome. What are good and bad things about your LHBS? I'm starting a new job at my LHBS on Monday and we want to create an awesome experience for the customer.

I am brewing my first all grain beer tonight. I had 11 lbs of grains and am using 3.5 gallons of water for my strike water. After the hour in my mash tun how much water should I use to mashout? The batch I'm making it 5 gal, do I take 5 gallons out of the mash tun or less? Thanks!

I'm going to brew the Czech Pilsner Extract Kit w/ Specialty Grains from NB today and its my first lager. Any tips out there or best practices for lagering? I just purchased the thermostat control for a fridge I have so I can lager it in there.
