3.2% States and their beer/wine regulations...

Another Utahn here. This state has some pretty humorous laws. My husband just graduated, so were planning to get out ASAP. The restaurant laws are very silly. I'm almost surprised they even sell wine in restaurants. You cannot buy ANY alcohol at a general/grocery store above 3.2%. So, no. They...

    coffee, biscotti & HOMEBREW

I'm just sitting here, waiting for my water to boil. I'm brewing a coffee stout with a bit of chocolate malt. I took a few ingredients from a few different recipes I had found online. I needed a cheap/simple stout recipe, as funds are a bit low. This is the first time I've branched out, writing...

    Why extract?

Another newbie's opinion here. I've only brewed 4 batches - they have all been extract batches with specialty grains. I started brewing simply because I really enjoy a GOOD brew. Ive only drank one batch of my personal home brew and it was simply that. A delicious tasting, well-rounded beer...

American Wheat Extract kit, with Dark German Munich?

I bought an American Wheat beer kit at my LHBS and its basically a huge bag of extract. I have a 1/2 lb of German Munich grain left over from a previous batch & I am thinking about adding it to the recipe. Any suggestions? Ha idea?

    Deep dark wheat

Rad! You're ahead of me then! I've only done extract batches too. I need to do more research on brewing all-grain. After reading (on here) about it, I'm quite sure I need more supplies. I'll be sticking to extract for a while I think. 😁 You wanting to start all-grain brewing?

    Hello

I assume you'll be safe following the instructions. There may have been a "better" or "easier" way to do it, I'm learning.

    Pumpkin Spice Flavored Sauce

True. That's what I was wondering. It is basically pure cane sugar. Im thinking of adding just about a TBSP to the bottling bucket. In that case-should I just add a bit less priming sugar?

    Pumpkin Spice Flavored Sauce

Perfect. Good to know. The sugar based favoring should be alright, though, yes?

    Pumpkin Spice Flavored Sauce

I work at a coffee shop & have access to a pumpkin sauce & a pumpkin spice flavor. The sauce is a condensed milk base. The flavor is sugar/water based. I'm planning on bottling my pumpkin ale tonight & want to use a little bit of either or possibly both. Any feedback?
