    Funny taste...

    OK, I dived in & bought all the toys to make real beer, I was checking the gravity today and the beer has a strong taste of charcoal.     Success!!

    I just tried the first bottle from my second batch and I am not dissapointed! Both batches were ecellent, now I am looking to expand my horizions; I saw somewhere in here about someone using oranges to add zest to their IPA, that is my next cook, could someone explain this to me? Thanks!

    Oops?

    Hi! Last week I bottled my first batch of home brew! I should have read everything a few more times, right after bottling I put it in the refrigerator. It was chilled for maybe 3 days before I realized this wasn't what the directions said. I put it back to room temp, was this a fatal mistake...

    I'm just full of questions!

    Hi Again! I just bottled my first batch 4 days ago, today I saw that I was screwing up. I put it directly in the refrigerator at about 40 degrees, was that a fatal mistake for this batch or will the yeast carbonate it? I put it at room temp today in hopes it will recover. Thanks

    Two questions
