Switch connections, Neck down the pumps at the ball valves bring in water from the HLT. To top of grain bed, pull from bottom of grain bed into BK. By doing this at a slow pace the...

I'm losing my mind over this

If your getting your co2 from a welding store MAKE sure its not a blended argon/ co2 mix. I would change your co2 gas bottle out at a different source and see if that helps. How are you cleaning your kegs " pbw or ??" How are you sanitizing your kegs " star san or ??. Why the addition of so...

Do u think stone is a top 5 brewery in the U.S.?

I guess its all about preference. Good thing we have choices in the craft beer world, and that in turn gives us preference. There are many factors that change a beer. If your making your stance on a bottle of beer that's been shipped cold to a distributor just to sit on a warm shelf and back...

    What's in Yeast Nutrient?

Available lipids and phosphates, every time a yeast cell reproduces it splits into two (called budding ). This process diminishes the available lipids available to use for the next budding process (generation). Other ingredients cause the yeast to stay suspended longer.

March pumps and recirculating mash tun

If using a false bottom and RIMS system the pump can handle the smaller particles going through. After a few minutes the grain bed will act as a filter taking the smaller stuff that can fit through the false bottom and put it on top of the grain bed. As long as the grain bed goes undisturbed...

    Help With Polishing Keg

Another thing to add. If you polish the upper rim handle you will need to obviously need to clean out the inside of your kegs. This process took just as long as polishing them up. Still worried I didn't get them clean enough.

    Help With Polishing Keg

I just got done polishing my kegs last week. Took me about 12 hours for three kegs. I did use the gator pads at medium then fine. Follow with a buffing/ polishing pad that can fit on a 4 " angle grinder with a number 2 polishing stick. Sue bobs web site has great details, someone posted the...
