    I tried one of the bottles yesterday. It been 3 weeks in the bottle even with all my doubt. It was an very enjoyable myy buddy agreed.It very clear ,carbed well and a decent head. I also started a thomas cooper ipa with a centinal and cascade hop tea added to it. I'm useing white labs...

    Goin to do my 2nd batch thomas cooper ipa with a hop tea any sugestions on what type of hops I should use and was thinking of adding a 750ml bottle of jack daniels tennessee honey to it what do you guys think

    The cooper diy fermenter has a large amount head space. I just want to make a good beer I do want to move to ag but I'm goin to git the kits down pat first

    mine has the spigot and a bottleing attachment it was easy to bottle but idk about the krausen ring in place of the airlock and lack of proper seal

    I don't know if I like the fermentation bucket I got but it just seem like a good seal I got. A og of 1.050 and a fg of 1.020 so I know it fermented but not a lot of krausen like I see in some pic I don't know if that was due to the 25 l wort apposed to the 23l I should of done. I'm really new...

    I plan on starting my next batch in about 2 weeks give me time to free up some bottles fist batch is bottled letin it sit for 3 weeks before tring it I'm going to retry coopers lager is if a few changes in the brewing gives me better outcome I think the first one should be ok I did make a few...

    I plan of getting a carboy I have the cooper diy kit witch dosnt use an airlock thinkin about getting a 6 gallon carboy for primary and useing the bucket as a secondary is this a good idea or should I use the carboy for secondary

    Temps have been at 70 for the most part just pitched at around 80 took my og at that temp

    On my first batch og 1.053 taken too hot had to repitch for same reason im one week in very little krausen have had a reading of 1.020 last 3 days should i move to bottl:confused:e to condition it has plenty of turb on bottom

    Yeah not goin to be real sure of abv this go round i have learned a few things i didnt pick up in my research just by this forum and doing it just going to let it for 3 or 4 more days before checking last reading was 1.020

    Every time i have used the hydrometer when reading it correctly it droped a few points

    Think the fact that my fermentation bucket doesnt use an air lock is prob the source of alot of my worries one reason i m going to get the carboy then i will have an actual secondary as well not just bottle conditon
