    Lager fermantation

    Hi, just brewed a imperial pilsner, recipe from HBT. Should I be seeing krausen? Or does it take a lot longer when lagering to see it foam up?

    Yeast on side of carboy

    Has any one encountered yeast or what looks like yeast sticking to the side of the carboy, it has been in the secondary for a little over a week. Most of the yeast settled at the bottom, then I noticed it sticking to the sides yesterday. I am worried its an infection. Please help Thanks

    Possible infection?

    Have an all grain czech pilsner that has been in the secondary for 2 weeks. I noticed today that it has some weird stuff forming on top, I was going to bottle tomorrow, smells good and is pretty clear. Does any one know what this could be?

    Yeast activation

    Just wondering if someone may know this. Will my yeast still work if I didn't let it hydrate enough before adding it to the wart, it's a pale ale kit. Can it be fixed some how if I screwed up? Thanks

    2nd fermentation

    Hi, how long can a pilsner sit in 2nd fermentation stage? I have to go away for a week and it would be sitting there about 2 weeks all together? Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks
