    So who's brewing this weekend?

Brewing a pale ale this morning. 2 kegs blew this week so need to stock up for the winter. Hopefully back at it next weekend as well but one brew at a time...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I’m brewing an American Wheat tomorrow after work. Starter has been spinning for a couple days, grain is crushed, and propane tank is now full. Going to add some grapefruit zest for something different, hopefully I don’t regret it.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I am just finishing up the boil on a chocolate stout. Doesn’t exactly scream summer but my last two brews were lagers so I am set nicely. I look forward to this being done quickly, waiting on the lagers to finish up is painful.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Brewed a California Common yesterday afternoon. Was a bit concerned that there was no fermentation last night after 8 hours or so but it is bubbling away nicely this morning. I put the carboy in a bucket with cold water and a couple of ice bottles. It may have started off too cold, seems to...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

5 gallons of light lager in the books for today. Always a summer crowd pleaser.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Brewed a simcoe and sorachi ace IPA. First brew in a few months. Need a couple brew days more to be ready for summer. Irish red, chocolate stout. Doesn’t scream summer but it’s going to be good.

[Activity] Giveaway for Inkbird ITC-1000 Temperature Controller

Canada - just starting to build a fermentation chamber, this would be perfect.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Just finishing up mash of a Belgian Wit. Of course I relied on memory of how much dried orange peel and coriander I had, of which I only actually have about half the orange peel I need. A quick run to the grocery store once the boil gets going I guess.

Soft Drink Syrup & Corny Kegs?

I have my pop in the same keezer as my beer, all around 42F. My pop always takes about a week to carb up, sometimes longer. 3 days may not be enough time, I’d let it sit a bit longer.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I just finished brewing a blonde ale, not directly to style as I was using up some odds and ends of grains. Going to put some or all on strawberries, haven’t quite decided yet.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I brewed my first Barleywine yesterday. A small 3.5 gallon batch which came up short with about 3.2 gallons in the fermenter, and quite a bit of trub. It took off like a rocket and is going strong now.

Soft Drink Syrup & Corny Kegs?

I serve it at 10, which still has a good carb to it.

Soft Drink Syrup & Corny Kegs?

Boasist, I think your measurements are off. I do 2.8 litres of syrup and 14 litres of water for a total of 16.8 litres in the keg.

Soft Drink Syrup & Corny Kegs?

I mix them directly in the keg. I have a 1 gallon apple juice jug with a line at 2.8 litres. I put 2 or 3 jugs of water, a jug of syrup then the remaining water. I shake it up well and haven’t had any problems with settling.

Soft Drink Syrup & Corny Kegs?

I do exactly that. I bought the 5 gallon bag in a box of coke and dr. Pepper from Sams club. They mix 5:1 water to syrup. It works great for me. I set at 15 psi, let it carb over a week or so and it is good to go.

    Fruit Beer Lemon-Lime Hefe Weizen

I like to use the brewers friend calculator fir determining how much corn sugar to add (https://www.brewersfriend.com/beer-priming-calculator/), I have always had good carbonation following their recommendations. As for the length of time before drinking I usually wait 2 weeks and then give...

American Pale Ale Summer Citra Cerveza

I finally had a chance to brew this yesterday and pitched a big starter of Mexican lager yeast. It is bubbling away nicely. I had to sub the centennial and cascade hops but will dry hop with citra in a few days. Really looking forward to this in the summer time. In that sense I regret the...

That sounds great, I’m wanting this for the summer so I have lots of time.

American Pale Ale Summer Citra Cerveza

I’m going to brew this next weekend. Thinking about using Mexican Lager yeast. Has anyone lagered this? I assume it would be fine.
