    Using a generator

Dryer plugs are the way to go... I had to use my oven's due to me having a gas dryer. But this counting. And I absolutely agree with Owly there have been zero and I mean zero improvements on portable generators since the 70s.... Oh wait. I like my 80 db push button start generator that will...

How to get logos off glasses?

Swimming pool acid is 35% hydrochloric I would never put sulfuric in my pool. But to the point; why bother? Pint glasses are cheaper than dirt.

    Costco Kegerator

I bought that very same model a couple of years ago. I was fooled by the clearance price. The fridge won't keep beer at a serving temperature (unless you like warm beer) with out modification to the thermostat. The regulator is garbage. And the compressor quit after a year and a half. I do not...

    Graduated cylinder question

Just enough beer to make it float. As long as you can see clearly through the test cylinder no trimming required.

Brew ktl for 5 gal extract

A full boil for better hop utilization. But you'll be hard pressed to bring 6+ gallons to boil on a stove top.

Does a longer stir bar get thrown less?

A shorter bar would help with the throwing issue. My stir plate has a magnet pretty much it's entire diameter so I rarely have an issue. You don't need a vortex at the surface to promote growth. A subtle agitation should suffice in introducing oxygen

    Boil Over Safeguard

With the density of the foam of some of my almost boil-overs, I think something like that might just float on the foam. It's seems to work for water though... At least that's what the guy on tv said.

Custom Kettle/Keg/Tank Flaring Tool, Any Interest?

I think it's a really cool idea. My only concern is it seems I little big for half inch couplers, that's all I use... For now

    Firehouse Sub bucket

You could try oxiclean. But one or two cheap throw-away batches with dme might work. But after thinking. After the price of all that you're better off just buying a clean bucket.

    How tight for worm clamps/fittings?

My most sincere apology for the miss use of foot pound. It's 60 inch pounds. And I guarantee there is a set torque for all hose clamps. As for the tool just do an amazon search for hose clamp torque wrench.

    How tight for worm clamps/fittings?

Lowes has them in the plumbing department. 60 ftlb is enough for alot of things, maybe hose clamps is one of them

    How tight for worm clamps/fittings?

They do make a tool that tightens them. I believe to 60 ftlbs

    organizing beer bottles

I too use milk crates. They stack perfectly and I only need two for one five gallon batch. I find they hold 25 standard 12oz bottles.
