Propane or Electric

Any chance you have pictures of said inline GFCI? I wonder if an inline GFCI could be safely used if connected to the outlet behind an electric range.

    Cask Conditioning Homebrew

Cool information. The Spanish terms "corteza del árbol" or "cáscara del árbol" refer to "tree bark".

Tried Brew-In-A-Bag tonight, got bad efficiency: 1.034 instead of 1.054

Hi Picobrew, I think you will benefit from reading this thread: The Brewing Network • View topic - How to go from Extract to AG for < $10.00. Before I tried my first (and still only) BiaB batch, I read that thread (above), lustreking's posts regarding BiaB, and adamjab19's post...

I have at home a black UFO/GG combo, and it works wonderfully. It seems there are a few members of CoffeeGeek and Home-Barista around here, which is great.

    New BYO Aussi brewing article

This is exactly how I did it, and worked great. Out of curiosity, did you raise the temperature of the mash to 170 degrees (i.e., mash out), before pulling out and draining the bag?

    New BYO Aussi brewing article

Which BYO issue is that? I've noticed a few homebrewers already mentioned said article. I have tried BiaB once, and it was easy going. I used a 5-gal. paint strainer from the Home Depot. Today I will taste said batch at a Real Ale party. :D

Using a pasta maker to mill grain.

Thanks for reporting back to the thread. Glad it did work. Any chance you can post pictures of it (with the modified rollers)?

    Electric Turkey Fryer

As David_42 recommended above, how about brewing smaller batches (2.5-3.0 gallons)? Maybe you can keep the lid partially covering the aluminum pot?
