    Boil time?

    I am getting ready to brew my 2nd beer (hopefully today) and I am confused about the boil time. The LHBS told me all it needed was a 10 min boil (1/2oz Kent Goldings at 10mins, and then 1/2oz at 2mins).     1st Brew results?

    My first brew is currently fermenting in my basement. However, due to some rookie mistakes, I am nervous about its outcome. Just wondering how some of the more experienced brewers here first attempt turned out? Anything fantastic? Anything that tasted worse than a warm Strohs? :mug:
