    Help!! Bottling but notice floaters!!

Hi gang, this is my 10 th batch. I've just transferred to my bottling bucket from the primary. It's an Imperial pale ale kit. It's been in the primary for less than 2 months. With some temps over 75 while stored. But the fermentation and about 2 to 3 more weeks of storage is within temp...

    Rookie question RE: Growlers

I have a couple of nice growlers I received as gifts. I don't use kegs and usually bottle all my previous batches. My question if you even can how would you bottle direct to a growler? Or really can the twist cap hold in the pressure of final fermenting, etc. Regards,

roughly. Of course. I realize there are numerous variables. My wife just said you should have a batch for the July 4 party! Hmmm can I? I thought. Do I have to get put of bed right now, I thought? Then I remembered. You guys will know. Thanks

    Time for bottles to Fridge??

All, I'm doing a couple of batches of Imperial Pale Ale (Brewer's Best LME kit). And I'm in a rush to serve them at an event in a few weeks. I've heard that the beer should be in the bottle for around two weeks which I've been doing for all my previous batches(for conditioning, etc.) and...

I'm filling into Belgian 750 Mel's and my brew shop sold me a larger cap bell. Just the metal bell and it screws into the capper. Which it did fine. But the bottom of the caps won't crimp under. Aaah! All my bottles are washed. Beer is in the bottling bucket. I have 3 bottles filled and...

    Last week of fermentation chilled

Does it help or aid carbonation? I just finished a brewers best Imperial Pale Ale all bottled and sat for a few weeks in cool temps. Then per the instructions, I'm to refrigerate for a week before serving. Well I was anxious and after a day on ice I had to try one. Tasted great, great ABV...

Looking for a High ABV IPA extract kit

Any suggestions. My first batch came out pretty good. :ban: Got rave reviews from other homebrewers. But it was light on the Alcohol content. I think it was my yeast that was lame or stale. I'd like a double IPA kit because this is one of my favorite beers right now. I might as well...

    Fermenting/KRAUSEN stopped after 30 hours?

No airlock activity, swirling of contents stopped. maybe 48 hrs max is that ok? Brewed 7 days ago from a truebrew IPA kit. It took 3 to 4 days for the first bubbles to show. Then it really cranked for a while with 2 inches of foam and it was swimming in there. Temps in the ale range for...

1st batch worrywort, TEMP spike coming

My fermentation vessel is stored in my garage and the temp is 64 today but running up to the mid 90's in a couple of days. My instructions did not identify a temp range to store the full fermenter. My searches reveal I should be looking to stay in the 60's. Is this accurate? My glass carboy...

First Timer today and have started setting up and cleaning. I'm going to be away next weekend and my recipe says to bottle 7 days after fermentation. Does that mean 7 days after the fermentation stops or 7 days after the wort is poured into the fermentation vessel?? Ahhh!! :( I'm a...
