Yeah. I realize that and it should bring me back to what i was targeting abv wise. OG was 1.054 instead of 1.066. My efficiency was good though at 76%. I'm actually looking to do this not only to fit into my 5gal keg, but also to get the kick I was looking for.

I've roughly got a gallon too much for the keg to hold. I'm dry hopping right now, and am planning to try and freeze that off before transferring. From what I have read now, this is eising the beer. Correct?

I'm still dialing in my process I think. I got 80% last time, but the drain and sparge took an hour and a half. The time before that I got 68% in 45 minutes. Based on that I think I need to be done with it in about an hour fifteen to hit the 75% I plan for.

I would drill holes in the side wall too. Maybe just a row or two close to the bottom. That way no wort will be left between the tun and the false bottom.

I can't keep my fridge full enough to drink more than one a day. Life only allows me to brew about once a month. So me and mine find other things to but heads over.

I just finished bottling. I got 51 plus the half that I'm sipping on. I ended up at 6.84%, and will definitely be tasting one next week when a friend comes into town. Most will wait two or three weeks though.
