If you find your hops missing this fall it wasn't me. What type are you growing? I've been wanting to get into it but I don't have room. Do they grow well in Utah?

    dry hop in keg

I dry hop in keg. I leave them in til keg is dry. I've tasted no off flavors. I just toss pellets into hop bags and throw it in. No issue with clarity so far either.

easiest/best way to add strike water to mash tun?

Get a http://store.brooklyn-homebrew.com/weldless-pot-spigot-ball-valve-stainless-steel/dp/2673 for your pot. Works on Stainless and Aluminium. It flows fast and you wont lose temp playing around with bailing from one pot into you Mash Tun. After that use http://www.brewersfriend.com/mash/ or...

    epic brewing

I'm a fan of their 825 st stout myself. Or their smoked porter. Also their mid mountain mild ale hits the spot when the stout is a bit to heavy. Their elder brett is fantastic you should try it if you haven't. My wife goes brainless for brainless on peaches. The big bad baptist was great in...

    Brewers best kit belgian triple

Belgium beers get their flavor mostly from the yeast. Try http://www.wyeastlab.com/hb_yeaststrain_detail.cfm?ID=127 or http://www.wyeastlab.com/hb_yeaststrain_detail.cfm?ID=65 Next time to get the spicy clove and banana Belgium tastes. Also those yeasts will dry it out more and tolerate the...

American Pale Ale Sacred Summit Pale Ale (AG) [[ Gold Medal and Best In Show ]]

Just finished my keg of Sacred Summit. Damn that was a tasty beer. BM your beers are some of my favorite to brew. I think we have similar tastes. Best beer I've made so far. Fermented at 60 for 3 weeks in primary, cold crashed for 48 hours then transferred to keg and dry hopped with 1 oz...

    Making the Switch To Metric!

:) How do you quantify that statement? best at what? gun ownership? debt? largest military? :p Metric is simpler to use. you can exchange units so much easier. weight, volume, distance etc all can be interchanged easily.

How Many Batches Before You Made A Dumper

My first 2 all grain. Temps got away from me and I'm sure i under-pitched, they turned into undrinkable fruity ester drain cleaners. Was horrible opening 10 gal of beer in 12oz bottles and dumping them down the drain. Since then I've got temp control taken care of and no problems (yet).

    Oyster Stout

http://www.northernbrewer.com/connect/episode/brewing-tv-episode-48-the-worlds-your-oyster-stout/ Northern brewer guys on brewing TV cover a brewery making an oyster stout. Looks kinda like disgusting to me.

3 weeks til I need to deliver beer for a wedding

I recently made a centennial blonde. Took about 14 days from grain to carbed in the keg. Very similar to blue moon but not as peppery and has more mouth feel. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f66/centennial-blonde-simple-4-all-grain-5-10-gall-42841/ With your time constraints an extra body or...

15 gallon kettle and electric stove

My electric stove struggles with a 7 gal boil for my 5 gal batches. I had to upgrade to a turkey burner to keep my brew day under 6 hours. I think you should go with propane or an electric heating system.
