    Um. Accidently fermentation? wtf?

Ok, so I'm making a cyser, but that isn't the focus of this post. I had about half a gallon left of my apple juice, and due to my fridge being broken (damn this apartment complex!) I immediately closed the apple juice bottle and placed it on my counter. 3 days later the apple juice...

Edworts Apelwein, has anyone tried adding fruit or berries?

I was just curious if anyone has tried adding fruits such as strawberries, cherries, blueberries etc to edwort's apfelwein recipe? If I was to try it, do you think I should add fruit to the primary or secondary? or both?

Primary fermentation bucket lid non food safe

Hello, quick question, so I enjoy brewing meads and wines mainly, and i recently bought a food safe bucket from lowes. However, they did not have a food safe lid to go along with it. Is it ok to use a non food safe bucket since the must/wort/whatever would not come into physical contact with...

FG safe to bottle at with carbination...

Well I dont know how much more the yeast can handle to be honest. I used a pound and a half of honey and about a pound of liquid malt extract....and a can of fruit in light syrup (all that for a 1 gallon batch). I don't have an og reading for it, but it must have been way high.

FG safe to bottle at with carbination...
