Anyone ever use plasti-dip to paint their keezer/kegerator? I was going to order some plasti-dip from dipyourcar.com for my 66 VW and wondered if anyone has ever done this to their keezer? If you have I'd like to see some pics!

Yeah I have read that also. We just want to try something different this brewsday. So from what I've gathered I will just add water to bring my mash up to the protein rest temp, perform the rest, add enough boiling water to bring it up to sach rest temp and continue as normal. Correct?

Was wondering what people are using for blowoffs with better bottles an the like? I know that NB has a "blowoff assembly" but the tubing is rather small. Planing on making a switch, I normally use buckets.

Is this LHBS located in kitsap county by any chance?? I have used both dry and liquid, no starter and still have had great results. Always more than one way to make great beer.

I have a 7 something cubic ft freezer that I'm using as a keezer. I don't have a collar on it, I have 2 kegs and the CO2 tank in there along with bottled beer. I've seen others that have fans in them which I'm guessing is to keep condensation at bay? I haven't had any condensation yet.

I don't know what you could add at this point. You could add lactose, but it doesn't really fit with the style of the beer. Next time try adding honey malt to your recipe, it really does add that honey aroma/flavor without drying the beer out.

Adding more honey would give you a little bit of honey aroma/taste. Doing this though will start a secondary fermentation which will dry out your beer, but give you an alcohol boost. Was this a 5 gallon batch?

I have looked around the forums for a little bit to try to find a clone for this ale from kona brewing and I can't really find a clone. Anyone have a clone for this? I would like to brew this sometime in the future for a party in August.
