    eBIAB using Ranco controller

Thanks for the info. I had a gift card to amazon that would cover one, but if i'm going to toast it or have to do more wiring I might as well go with a pid. Thank you

    eBIAB using Ranco controller

I'm debating on using this device Ranco ETC 111000 to control a 4gal eBIAB with a 2000 watt element. The majority of threads referencing the Ranco are for refrigeration. I didn't want to spend the time wiring a pid and control panel if this would work. Thanks for the help

    Greetings from Eastern Tennessee

I know I'm a little late to the party here, but welcome. If you are in the south knox area there is another shop called allen's biermaking on martin mill pike. I believe he is open everyday except wed.

Show us your sculpture or brew rig

Here is mine. Only one burner at the moment so the boil kettle acts as a holding unit until I have added the water for the last batch sparge. Side View/Storage Mode Ready for use (sorry for the fuzzy pic)

Still new to all grain and need help with everything

Here is a basic pictorial that helped me out when I first started. It helped to remind me of steps I might otherwise forget. I just subbed in the water & temp values from beersmith. good luck:mug: WortHog Batch Sparging Instructions

    flip-open kegerator

I saw that too. It was in Zymurgy and I believe he called it the "Portland Tap". I didn't read the article so I'm unsure as to what his reasoning for this was.

    coffee grinder

I used a blade grinder once for an extract batch. It did the job, but I can't reccommend it for and all-grain batch. Let me also say I made sure I did not turn the grain into flour and only hit the pulse a few times.

Kegerator capable of holding 4 kegs

Doesn't technically have to be premade. She doesn't like the aesthetics of a chest freezer (unless I put a tower on it) or the refrigerator door style. If it were going to be placed in the garage or other storage area, I don't think she would have a problem, but since it will be placed in our...

Kegerator capable of holding 4 kegs

Wife has just given the OK to get a kegerator, with only one condition. It has to be premade, that means no chest freezer. Does any one know of any kegerators that can hold 4 pin-locks (if I have to switch to ball-locks I can)? I believe the Beverage-air and True can but I am not certain...
