Any idea what the efficiency for the original post was? I have an electric setup with ~82% brewhouse efficiency in BeerSmith and if I just straight double all ingredients I end up at 1.093.... So...should I reduce just the pale and special roast? Should I double the honey? Anyone got tips for...

Hey all, Picked up a G1 20G kettle that didn't have a lid awhile back. Blichmann no longer makes G1 and every vendor I can find is out of any G1 lid backstock...sooooooo.... Let me buy yours! If you don't find yourself really using the 20G G1 Lid, I'd love to take it off your hands. -Jason

So here's my spa panel from Home Depot. 4 wires in with 240V. Dryer plug receptacle mounted inside. Used a plastic 3/4" knockout strain relief when bringing the power line in. Thanks to everyone in this thread for your input! Made this easy!

There was a photo somewhere on these forums of a spa panel's wiring but it had labels laid overtop it. I can't seem to find that anymore. Anyone know what I am talking about? It's similar to the pics in this thread, but just had text on top clearly labeling what wires went where.

Any suggestions on what to cut a circular hole with? Would a jigsaw work? I got my hands on a Spa Panel that will accommodate the receptacle inside of it (so I don't have to have an external gang box with it mounted), but there isn't a knockout on the side like this.

Is that the Square D HOM250SPA? It looks like yours is slightly different than mine. We moved the ground bus to the same spot yours is in, but the breaker itself sits a bit more up and left. Also, my 14-30R is not a twist locking type, but it appears to be much deeper than yours...

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but this is the most thorough source of info on this topic on these forums. I just picked up a Square D 50A Spa Panel, but there really isn't much room to mount the receptacle INSIDE the spa panel. Can anyone with recent experience with a different spa panel...

A simple strategy to cut down might just be to start later in the evening; I find my pace doesn't really change and if I know I'm going to bed at 11, starting at 830 or 9 means I'm only having 1 or 2. Just slowing down the rate can have a huge impact on volume.
