    Need guidance on hops schedule

    Hi all- Quick question about the hops/ ingredients my parental units got me from the LHBS for my birthday. 6lb Briess Bavarian Wheat DME 1/2 lb Smoked Malt 1/2 lb brown malt 1lb Crystal 60L 2oz Spaltz 2oz Cascade The only question I have is with the hops...anyone have a suggested...

    bottling 1 gal batch tonight. priming amount?

    Bottling a 1 gal batch tonight and I'm trying to figure out the amount of priming sugar to use. After some searching, I have found suggestions of 1.5 tablespoons of table sugar for priming a 1 gal batch. Good/bad/ugly? ...other suggestions?

    safale us-05 "seal and store, use within 7 days"

    Using a 1-gallon jug for fermenting, I have enough yeast left for 2 more batches. The safale us-05 package was folded shut and put in the fridge. It will also be longer than 7 days before I brew another batch. Should I just throw out this yeast remaining in the packet that doesn't fit the...

    Not sure where to start on this one... Caught the brewing bug :) Got a kit for xmas and successfully brewed a nut brown. Came out amazing (was it? I dunno, but I made it! :rockin: ). I went to a supply store and told the guy the equipment I had (1-gal gear), my limited brewing experience...
