Well i think those tubs can be made to work but we are talking about is a unit that is in the 50 liter range with tri-clamp 1 1/2" fittings with a sealing lid. The idea would be to offer a better price point than ss.

Hey all, my partner and I have been looking at building a plastic (food grade) fermenter and seeking some design input and general feedback to see if it is even worth the investment. My real concern is would you consider a plastic fermenter over a SS one which no argument here is the cats...

Well it does say BSP/NPT which is bsp and will thread as far as NPT taper allows, surprised you wound not actually want BSP in Japan? In any event we have bsp/npt in stock no wait for them.

As for an ETA we will not have them for best guess another month but I will have to keep an eye on that timing, start to finish it takes 90 days to manufacture these and we are about 60 days in. As for an exchange i am going to think that is a can of worms we won't want to open in all honesty...

We finally got the pumps with some delays, they were getting power supplies added and magnet coated which has taken us a bit longer than we had expected. End result is the last process (Coating Magnet) is in process on a large volume of pumps, as they come out of that process we will be shipping...

I can tell you the product is silicone which we all use in the tubing (FOOD GRADE) including us. I cannot tell you the specific product as we have worked hard to modify this pump for this purpose and continue to do so like any other decent company. The newest coating is going to be more apparent...
