    fruit in secondary

    Ill be adding strawberries to a blonde ale this weekend. It's my first attempt at adding fruit to beer and was wondering if I treat it the exact same as dry hopping. I know about freezing them and stuff but should I put them loosely in a muslin bag or anything? I'm assuming it doesn't matter...

    oops, forgot something big...

    I just brewed my second batch of beer and for some reason forgot to take an OG reading and added the yeast and started fermenting about 24 hours ago. I noticed there is still no activity in the fermentation lock. Its been stable at 68 degrees so I'm just wondering if it takes that long...
