    I'm so pleased with how my first wine is turning out that I was thinking it would be nice to make some labels for when I give some as presents. What program would you recomend for making labels? What labels should I use? Also, can I get custom corks somewhere?

    My kit uses 3cc of must if I remember correctly. Its a good sized thimble full.

    I've never heard or read about this before. You said it is this way for most wines. What kinds get the airlock and what don't? Whats the difference?

    If you add water to the must then aren't you deluteing the acid? Wouldn't that give you a lower reading than is actually in the must? I've always tested the must by itself. If you're starting out with something purple then you're looking for a grey color. I'm still pretty new at this myself so...

    Has anyone tried useing a food mill? It would put a lot of pulp in but the only thing left over would be seeds and skin.

    Hmmm.... I see. I like my stuff sweeter(I make wine and cider) and I haven't been able to get it to where I like it yet. My thought was kill the yeast, sweeten, then force carb it.

    I don't know anything about Kegging besides what I have read here: http://sdcollins.home.mindspring.com/Kegging101-1.html I won't be able to set up a tap for a while so for now I will have to bottle my brew but I do want to force carbonate so what would be a easy and cheap way to do this...

    I've seen recipes useing apple juice concentrate. Can I add the concentrate without adding the suggested amount of water to up the sugar and flavor? If so what would be a good ratio do do this with? 1 can for 3 gallons?
