Just bottled a batch of Slobber today. 2-1/2 weeks primary, 3 weeks secondary. First time I've used Irish Moss - really nice and clear! Tastes great and my FG was 1009... this is going to be a good one!
Using the Wyeast Belgian Abbey II for the first time. It took a little longer to plump up after the smack - about 8 hours. Will this lag continue in the starter steps? Usually I do 12-18 hours - should I increase this? Planning on doing 2 steps.
