    Beer for the Baby!

No, its not really for the baby but it will be for the mother-to-be. She's a homebrew wife and isn't digging being brew-free for the next 9+ months. I'd like to surprise her with a special batch and my first thought was to brew something basically now and have it be "ready" at the end of...

    Hofbrauhaus Weisse

Has anybody managed to come across a recipe for Hofbrauhaus's Hefe-Weize / Weisse brew? I've scoured for a while without much luck. I'm hoping for an extract recipe - or even partial mash if need be, but I don't have the equipment to go all-grain. Any suggestions? Thanks guys

Has anybody tried using the Danby fridge as a fermentation chamber? The standard temp control will only get up to around 48°, so I would guess a modification to the thermostat would be needed...any thoughts or success stories? Thanks guys! Dustin

    Maintaining a cold kegerator

I'm still trying to piece together the prime kegerator fridge candidates. From what I've read so far, it looks like its tough to maintain a colder internal temperature - most linger in the 38-40º range. So I wondered - why not use a fridge with the freezer module up top? Is this because...

    Hey from Maryland!

Hey guys! My name's Dustin and, well, I'm new here! I've been reading about home brewing for a bit, have one kit-brew under my belt - which was bottled (ugh) and now I'm anxiously awaiting a kegging setup in the mail. I'm finding this whole hobby quickly snowballs into obsession...
