Since its the photo thread, and I haven't posted since mine were 4" tall, may as well show off some burrs on my one first-year williamette thats at least 15' by now (try to ignore the japanese beetle destruction on the leaves behind them)...

Freshops. Fast customer service and my 5/6 of my hop rhizomes are growing beautifully! (one was moldy and has no signs of growth, so they're replacing it to boot)

Sorry to be "general" with my advice, but I've read at several sites that hops naturally grow between the 30th and 50th parallels, which Boston lies within. So really, I'd say any type would grow in a New England summer, especially the british/german varieties that I've heard are susceptible to...

Since these things grow so fast, got any updated pics we could see? :) And thanks for the tips about multiple bines/photosynthesis to support root growth/all that interesting stuff. Trying to learn as much as I can before these babies need botanical TLC.
