    Arizona FS: Starter Equipment

I'm getting out of the game, friends. I make wine occasionally, but no more beer. Everything is in great shape with normal wear and tear. Pick up only near Tucson, AZ. I could maybe deliver for a fee, but not interested in shipping. Thanks for looking. - 10 Gal Rubbermaid mash tun with...

    Sessionable SMaSH IPA?

This is the first I'm learning of parti-gyle, and I'm excited to try it out. I could do two SMaSHs with two different hop varieties, then switch them the next time around to see how the gravity affects the flavor. So many things to learn! :ban:

    Sessionable SMaSH IPA?

Thanks for the feedback. 5g batch and just relatively low ABV (targeting 4-5%). My motivation is twofold: First, I like the taste of IPAs and pale ales, I drink a lot, and I get drunk (sometimes this is OK). I'm taking steps to be drunk less often. Second, a great friend of mine had to...

    Sessionable SMaSH IPA?

Hi all, I'm looking for a good starting point for a couple different AG session SMaSH IPAs. I recently brewed a great SMaSH IPA with MO and Cascade, but I could only drink two before everything tasted good. I don't use brewing software (maybe now is a good time to start), and I'm not...

    Easy DIY Stir Plate

Thanks for your comment. I did adjust the magnet placement after I published this video, but the stir plate works great for me with a 1 3/8" bar. I've made 20+ starters with it so far, and it starts up and stays running great every time. I'm sure your method is great, but this one is working for me.

Stone 15th Anniversary Escondidian Imperial Black IPA clone

I brewed this on Sunday, and my batch sparge process still needs some work. My OG was low (1.090), but it still looks great. I can't believe how violently it's fermenting. I've got it blowing off, and I've had to change the sanitizer and mop up the blowoff four times already! I used a stepped-up...

Stone 15th Anniversary Escondidian Imperial Black IPA clone

I just ordered all the supplies for this... came out to about $70 for the grain, hops, sugar, and yeast :drunk: Hopefully I don't goof it up!

    Fruit Beer Succulent Strawberry Blonde

Yep, I'll be force carbing, but I won't have it on gas the whole time I'm away. I'll just keg it, purge it, and give it a healthy shot of CO2 before I leave, and then I'll just keep it in my ferm chamber so the temp won't fluctuate too much. Thanks for your input, WildGinger!

    Fruit Beer Succulent Strawberry Blonde

Some time constraints have put me in a pickle with this brew. Today I am scheduled to go to tertiary, but I won't be able to get it out of the tertiary for about 8 weeks. Should I go ahead and just keg it from the secondary (it's in with the strawberries right now)? Which would be the least...
