    Polaris Hops

    I've been using these in my California Common's and find they're a great replacement for Northern Brewer hops with a pungent pine like to them. Love this hop and about to use it for a IPA next weekend prob.

    I believe it is best to cook your rice ( not minute rice) in a larger pot and use more than twice the amount of water to make a oatmeal/cereal style for mashing and keep it soupy. 20 min for cooking, also adjust strike water temp to adjust for temp of the rice soup, mine when added jumped to 160...

    Carlsberg Recipe????

    Revvy I tried both, 1 batch with more pilsner malt and 7 batches with the sucrose. The recipe you posted is excellent and ty I really enjoyed and am still enjoying them, I still have 2 kegged and 1 in a carboy. I did how ever change the yeast and alternated between 2124 & 2565 as Lager work...

    my ipa is to sweet ah help

    Would making a hop tea (boiling the hops in water) and adding to the keg correct this, Or would this ruin the beer? Or adding a primming yeast to the keg, just a small amount like the brewers do after filtering?

    Fruit Beer Blueberry Summer Ale

    Hey when adding fruit to a recipe would soaking the frozen berries in whisky not sanitize them just to be safe ? And how many months would you say a fruit beer would keep before it went bad after bottling/kegging ? Ty in advance for your reply cheers

    OK I have brewed 2 batches of 5 gal with the Marris Otter and tapped the first one today. It was spot on, alittle more bitter than Bass, but Awesome recipe and thank you for it. Cheers:tank::mug:

    May I ask, is there something, a grain, I can use so I don't have to add Sucrose or dextrose to this recipe, cause I would like not to . Any suggestions and Ty for this post cheers

    I'll let you know, I am about to try this in a few weeks with marris and WLP004 or 005. I have 004 havested from the G stout left, but would that be a large different tast from the British ale yeast 005 ? Bass is my all time favourite beer and thank you for this recipe, use to sit in a local pub...
