Winter Seasonal Beer Christmas in Belgium

I use Bru N Water and treat both ma sh and sparge water. I have a RIMS and Herms system so I use a temperature mash. Makes life easier.

Winter Seasonal Beer Christmas in Belgium

    1. I shoot for this: Ca 50, Mg 7, Na 5, SO2 75, Cl 60, HCO3 0 2. Been doing 75 min boil. 3. Doesn't matter if you fly or batch sparge. Mash temps are the same. See OP. If 1-step is desired go with 150F for 90 min.

Winter Seasonal Beer Christmas in Belgium

I still use the original recipe. Change up the hops with what I have. Been using WY3787 the last few years. Kinda like it better. I tap near XMAS and is a fine beer in Jan/Feb!

Do you need a 1 off Stainless part built for your system? Let's discuss it.

Straight should work. I would screw in a 1/2" RTD into the cap. Not sure what you mean by starting from the gasket side.

Do you need a 1 off Stainless part built for your system? Let's discuss it.

I need a couple 2" TC caps drilled out with 1/2" NPT thread. Don't see then anywhere. I see 2"x1" and 1.5"x1" but no 2"x1/2" or 2"x1/4" anywhere. Need to put 2" long RTD sensors at the end of my RIMS tubes.
