I had read the book and was surprised by the ending, but it was a book and it was a lot easier to pull that off. When I heard they were making a movie I had No Idea how they were going to manage it. I was pleasantly surprised with the effectiveness of the adaptation.

I'm 35 and I get carded all the time-- liquor store, bars and at the movies. I just take it as a compliment, that I think there must have been some government crackdowns and they have just swung far to the "must card everyone" side.
