    Lid was on tight as a tick. No signs of fermentation in the fermenter. I repitched and will wait to see what happen. Took gravity reading and it's a bit lower that Og.( 1.052-1.049) And as sweet as what went in fermenter

    Brewed 10 gallons a blonde ale all grain on Monday. Placed into 2-5 gallon buckets. Pitched 1 packet of Nottingham ale yeast in each bucket. Bucket one has active fermentation bubbling air lick, krausen etc, bucket 2 nothing. Both dry yeast packets have same date. I'm going to pitch another...

    Ok. Just finished my brew day and was chilling the wort. Turned my back for 5 mins or so and to my surprise. My 11 gallons of wort became 13. My chiller developed a hole. Ugh! Suggestion. I'm thinking bout boiling off the water. It's American wheat with ibu of 35. Thoughts?

    I have never traded beer before! I want to trade some hop , terrapin or dog fish head for some pliney the elder. I don't know where to begin or how to know the people on the other end are trustworthy. Any one trade before? Some insight on we're to begin I'm in NNorth Carolina

    I only had one on hand because I was going to change them on all of my buckets. Forgot I had purchased them until I pushed this one on my bucket.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

    Partigyle today! First running was a RIS second running was a smoked Texas brown ale with molasses and brown sugar. Long day but had fun and worth the time.

    Thx kh for the reply! I assumed it would be okay but i could not stop myself from questioning my judgement. The brown is bubbling away and I really don't want to risk an infection.
