I brewed last years batch of this on Halloween, and bottled on November 30th. It was pretty good by Christmas, so the timeline you're planning on should work fine.

I'm about half way through the boil on 12 gallons of a golden sour. Going to pitch some roeselare slurry into it, and I think I will give half of it some jolly pumpkin dregs too.

Was browsing Craigslist today and found something familiar.

Got a double brew in today. Made a 5 gallon batch of Blue Balls Belgian Wit, and a 2 gallon batch of an Imperial Black Wheat IPA.

I found that recipe last night and I think that's what I am going with. I already have everything on hand, except the Orange peel, so that's an added bonus. I think I will pick up a couple oranges to zest after work today and I should be good to go.

Sounds like I'm going to be brewing this weekend now. Need to make a batch to trade for the repair of my kegerator. He has requested a wheat beer, any suggestions on a recipe? That is a style I have not brewed yet.
