    good to hear!

from what I've seen, users who have a system that works are at least somewhat pleased with it, but issued exist, and efficiency is quite low, but that was expected purely based on its design (BIAB with no interaction = big dough balls, and lots of unused malt)

If only their customer service matched the skills of their packaging design dept!

Washington Electric Brewing System, 3-Vessels, 20 Gallon Kettles

If it doesn't sell in a few weeks, I'll hit you up to split the system up, no problem.

Washington Electric Brewing System, 3-Vessels, 20 Gallon Kettles

The Megapot is my favorite of the three, but I don't think the extra cost is necessarily worth the minor benefits. But it's very sturdy, and has nice coatings on the kettle and lid handles. The Concord I use for the MT is good also, and by far the best value I've ever seen for SS kettles that...

Washington Electric Brewing System, 3-Vessels, 20 Gallon Kettles

I'm moving overseas into an apartment - must get rid of this awesome brewing system. $2000 or best offer (it has to go one way or another). The system's parts alone (can't count the weeks of labor put into this thing) cost more than $3000. I'm in Lacey, WA (Near Olympia) and do not intend on...

6.5 gallon corny keg - an affordable stainless fermenter, FINALLY!

Have a link on AliEx? I only saw the 5 gal version.

    Guess on Picobrew's Kickstarter?

7 minutes in, and they're over $20,000 funded, and growing quickly. While I think it's quite lame, and not for me (same as my thoughts o in Keurig) they obviously found a strong market of people who want to think they're brewers. Good on them, wish them the best.

    Guess on Picobrew's Kickstarter?

So their best Kickstarter campaign is the same product as the last but plastic? I'm underwhelmed. Was ready to buy the 5 gallon version in my head!

    Guess on Picobrew's Kickstarter?

That would be such a big disappointment, especially after all of the hints they've dropped about possibly having a 5gal version in the future.

I think he means Brewie is taking do long to fix their issues that by the time it's ready, many other products will have been on the market for a while

    Brewie

I don't think the reviews support this statement. It certainly had issues, most of which have already been fixed, but several (not a large pool of users to draw from) users ate experiencing great results. It's not currently attaining its claim of full automation, but it's working.

    Brewie

I don't think opening a valve and letting out a few ounces of water at the end of a cleaning cycle would kill the automated experience for anyone. As for the warranty... I would rather have better brews and no warranty than a warranty on a system with issues that negatively affect the brew...

Wonder if a tap can be built into the plumbing to allow for draining?
  15. Ethanfox

    Brewie

That's the assumption. Though, it could be that the hardware for the mechanism used to measure volume is faulty. Hopefully not the case.
  16. Ethanfox

    Brewie

Hopefully. It appears the biggest, most common issue users are reporting is the inability to accurately calibrate water volume. This is a pretty big deal. I hope they are able to correct the problem.
  17. Ethanfox

    Brewie

Sure. If you use leaf hops.

Lots to complain about with Brewie, but I don't think the size of the hops mesh is one of them. If you want to contain more, use a bag?

6.5 gallon corny keg - an affordable stainless fermenter, FINALLY!

Thats too bad. I got these when they were first listed, both worked perfectly. The beverage dip tube broke on one, but otherwise they've been great. Sorry to hear they're being discontinued, I had hoped to get more someday.

Really? Their email update indicated all EU machines had either been delivered or shipped. You should check with them on that discrepancy. Sounds like they lied... Again.
