Pennsylvania 7.0 CU ft Keezer, 2 taps, room for more

Hi I am VERY reluctantly selling my entire Keezer setup. Moving to a smaller place out of state, so just won't have room for it unfortunately (fortunately for you! :mug:) Asking $575 - put way more than that into this, and its in great condition. Excellent condition, works perfect...

    2 L Soda Bottles

I always thought bottled water companies said that to get you to buy more of their overpriced water instead of refilling from *gasp!* the tap.

    Do you have an accent?

I'm a Brit living in Pennsylvania, so have to endure daily questions of "are you Australian/Russian??" - most people don't have a clue what I'm talking about when I say I'm from Wales - "oh ... Wales? I knew you were from Russia somewhere!" And imagine the fun when I want to ask for "barbeque...

Hey, at least your first thought wasn't "I wonder if I could pitch that into a nice chocolate stout primary"

    Easy Ginger Ale

Hmmm that's interesting - so.probably not the yeast at fault then. My scales are pretty crappy, so it could well be the sugar. Thanks for the input, really appreciate it :mug

    Easy Ginger Ale

So I tried this recipe the other day, as described. Tastes ok, but it has a offputting eggy smell, I guess it classes as a sulfur smell - not eye-wateringly strong, but enough to affect the tasting experience. I didn't have any 'brewing' yeast on hand, so added regular red star active dry yeast...

    Open Letter to HBT (thanks)

Absolutely - I already spent more than 20 bucks on books, but after realizing how much more info I have got from these forums and what a great community it is when I have a dumb question, it was an easy decision to become a member. :mug:

    Where'd my beer go?

Yea that's a good point - I think I must've lost the beer going to secondary, because I got most all of the liquid out while bottling. I definitely will not be going to secondary on my next brews. In fact I'm planning to fill my carboy with apfelwein to take away the temptation to secondary my...

    Where'd my beer go?

Ok good to know its not unusual to lose this amount. I did go to secondary too. Thanks guys! I guess now I should probably stop shooting accusing looks at my suspicious acting cat...

    Where'd my beer go?

Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, I wasn't sure what to search. So I've just done my very first bottling session. Preparation was a bit of a pig, but I enjoyed the actual bottle filling - very therapeutic somehow :) . However, I only ended up with 43 bottles. As far as I have read, 5...
