Followed instructions as was told by a more experienced brewer (@ the time), and fermed primary for 3 weeks, and has been in secondary glass carboy for 7ish months now. Want to bottle but curious whether my yeast still has any umph. ???
Anyone ever experience accidental fires while brewing? Propane tank, gas stove, electrical stove? Had a scare yesterday while brewing an Alt and a Hefe and wondered if anyone's ever had anything bad happen that the rest if us could learn from.
New guy here, from just outside Atlanta. When you split vanilla beans to add to a secondary (oatmeal stout), do I add all the seeds 'n stuff, too?:confused:
