    Secondary Fermentation into carboy...not enough beer to the neck.

    I just racked my beer into secondary fermentation and i still have a decent amount of room in the carboy...do i top it off with fresh clean water to the neck or leave it be?

    OG Way Off....help?

    I just brewed a pumpkin ale and i was supposed to get an OG of 1.060 and I got 1.040 is that bad? where did i go wrong?

    pumpkin pie mix can vs pumpkin can

    I have a recipe for pumpkin ale and it calls for pumpkin in a can but at the store I can only find pumpkin pie mix with spices in it... should I still use it and tone down the spices I have or not? Thanks

    Fermentation stopped after 2 days?

    I brewed a batch of extract beer on friday, within hours the airlock was bubbling like crazy and now 2 days later i dont see anymore bubbles...is that bad? do i have leak? could it really be done? what can i do? thanks

    Bottle Cleaning

    I have brewed two batches all ready using all grain. When it comes to bottling, I soak them in the sink with a little bleach and hot water, i then rinse and rinse with warm water until I can not smell bleach anymore in bottles. then I turn the upside down and let them dry. Is this safe? Am I...

    Hello from Long Island

    I have recently started my own home brew. A good friend of mine has taught me the ropes and I really enjoying brewing. I found the website because I was trying to figure out how I could sell my own home brew in a local bar. Does anyone have an suggestions on how to do that in NY? Well anyway cheers
