    Starsan Question

    Hey all, I didn't dilute starsan properly when sanitizing the airlock and stopper the other day while dry hopping. I used .5 oz of starsan for .5 gallons of water for some reason..don't know what I was thinking. Should the beer still be fine? Jake

    Dry Hopping Temp

    Hey all, I'm dryhopping my Kamacitra batch tomorrow with plans of kegging on Tuesday. I would like to have the beer cold when kegging Tuesday, around 50f. So question can I dryhop at 50f? Or is that too cold? Jake

    I boiled it for 30 minutes before realizing I didn't add the bittering hops..should I boil for an extra 30?

    LME and DME question

    Hey all, I'm hoping to brew the NB Saison De Noel recipe tomorrow. The recipe calls for 6lbs of Pilsner malt syrup and 1lb of Briess Pilsner dme. However, my local home brew store doesn't have any pilsner malt syrup. They do however have briess Pilsner DME. Would it be okay to just use 5lbs...

    US - 05 fermenting at 63 degrees

    Hey all, My first time using a mini fridge as a fermentation chamber with the johnson A419. Been fermenting for about 20 hours now at a consistent temp of 63. Should that be okay or is the temp so low for us-05 that it will cause off flavours.

    6 lbs Gold Malt Syrup?

    I have an extract recipe that calls for 6lbs Malt Syrup. They don't sell this stuff at the store in my area. Is BRIESS GOLDEN LIGHT LME the same stuff? Do I also use 6lbs of golden light lme? Thanks, Jake
