    Think i may be in trouble...

    Yesterday, i went to sanitize my things so I used 5 gallons of water with 2 tablespoons of Clorox "Clean-Up" which states it is cleaner with bleach and that it "disinfects"... so my question is, is this bad? Is it going to ruin my beer or make me sick? I thouroughlly rinsed everything out...

    Beginner question

    well just bought my home brew kit today. Cleaned everything quite extensively and started brewing. a couple of questions or comments. First what is this "steeping" talk of refer too? Second i made the mistake of pouring my hot wart into the fermenting bucket with 4 gallons of cool water...
