    Yeast culturig advice

    Hi, so started to experiment with culturing some yeast prepared the agar petri dished and inoculated it, been a couple of days and this is how it is currently looking, it looks very milky and from what I have read that's a good sign. So what are you thoughts? Is this a successful culture?

    Create Extra Light DME from Light DME

    Am I correct in assuming I can create Extra Light DME by taking 50% Light DME and adding 50% Dextrose? eg. For 1Kg Extra Light DME I would combine 500g LDME and 500g Dextrose.
