    So I have my second batch of apfelwein. It's a 12 week old, 5 gallon batch Apfelwein that I am having to bottle carb, keg! :( I used edworts recipe with the same amount of dextrose and organic apple juice. I substituted the montrache yeast, for WLP 300. It has cleared beyond my expectations...

    Cold Crashing (joes quick pyment) question?

    Question on bottling Edworts Apfelwein

    Racked to secondary after 4 weeks onto a black tea and light spices mixture (2 cloves and one half stick cinnamon). It's been in the secondary for about 4 weeks and fermentation has def stopped.(8 weeks total at 68-70 degrees) I wanted to bottle carb but am pretty sure there isn't enough yeast...
