    Lifespan of yeast cake

    Is there a lifespan for one yeast cake? I am talking about theoretically brewing say once a week and pitching onto the same yeast cake again and again. How many batches would be appropriate assuming that the recipe was the same each time? Problems?

    Reusing Yeast

    I have a Cream ale that is about to go into a secondary. I want to brew an APA. Can I just pitch the APA wort onto the Cream Ale yeast cake and then aerate?
