    O2 in Racking

    Hey guys. Does anyone know if there is an adverse effect in having 02 reintroduced during racking? It seems that some 02 will be introduced. Is it better to keep as much out as you can or in the long run is the 02 forced out in the 2 fermentation without ill effect??? Thks

    Primary ferment

    OK first time brewing mead. How long should I leave the pirmary ferment? and also its been brewing for about 3 days now and the airlock bubbles only about once every 10-20 seconds. in a 3.5 gallon carboy. Is this normal? temp is 70 F. Thanks

    Any one have a recipe for a good dark stout. Looking for something alnog the lines of a Mackeson triple stout. thks

    Bottling question

    Hey guys good to meet you all. Iam new to this so please forgive the very newb question. OK can you bottle mead in plastic bottles (I can see the shudders from here:) If not why. Does it change the taste. Does it ruin the mead. anyway any suggestions would be helpful thks
