    Mango addition

Greetings all, I am going to brew a mango wheat beer. I was thinking of using frozen chunks of mango. I am looking for a beer with quite a pronounced mango flavor. Something like blue moon mango wheat. How many pounds of mango do you suggest I should add? TIA.

I have a question about yeast. It may have an obvious answer, but here it goes. I have been reading that washed yeast will only last a certain amount of generations before you loose the profile/umph of that particular strain. How do breweries create and maintain their special yeasts without...

    Did I ruin my beer?

Just kidding:mug: After reading through a ton of posts and following the wisdom around here, I'm happy to say I just bottled my first batch. It is a brown porter and quite tasty already. I had half bottle at the end of the run so I chilled it up and drank it. Not bad. I also brewed up a...

    Greetings all

I just wanted to say thanks for all the great info on the forum. You all are a vault of knowledge. I just brewed up my first batch. I got a porter recipe from my LHBS. It is chugging along nicely in the fermenter. I could not believe how much stronger the hops and grains smell before you...
